Detecting My Past

I grew up in a really old house.  It was the third house built in town.

Now obviously I haven't lived there for quite some time, but I stopped by and was happy to see that my old neighbors were still living there.

After a nice reunion and a chat over cold pizza and warm beer, I finally dropped the question.

They said yes and I ran home to get my machine.

I returned within an hour.

As soon as I started swinging, my machine started beeping.  I was using the MXT with a D2 coil.

I dug an Indian head, a buffalo nickel, a lead revolutionary war soldier, and on the 4th hole...

I found a beautiful 1857 flying eagle.  I was thrilled!  I couldn't believe it.

The bonus was that it was the yard I grew up playing in.

Over the next few hunts, this yard proceeded to give up many more old coins and relics.
