Lead People

In this hobby, collections just happen.

My MXT seems to love little lead figurines - I've found quite a few of them over the years.

These are usually found in the yards of homes built in the early 1900's.

It's always neat to find one of these figurines and get a sense of the era that it's from.

In my collection, there are WW1 figures, Revolutionary War soldiers, Victorian-era women, and animals, including a dog, a frog, and a horse.  There is even a lead figure of Jesus Christ!

Do you seem to find these figurines frequently?  Do you have a collection, too?  What's the most unusual figurine in your collection? Tell me about them in the comments box below.

Thanks for reading and keep on diggin'.
