I've managed to get out digging a few times, but haven't had a chance to sit down and post about them.
Here is a quick photo recap of the highlights of the past few weeks:
Same yard where I found the class ring.
This is the total from 3 separate hunts.
I also found 46 wheat pennies in this yard!
One of my best sites ever.

I was lucky enough to be interviewed by our local newspaper about the class ring. It ran on the front page of The Express-Times on Monday, May 4.
This all came out of a 4x10 sidewalk tear-out from one of my old sites.
Spent about two hours at this new site... can't wait to get back.
Found 5 Indians, including a 1862 fatty!
Fun day at another new site.
Freshly dug 1929 Buffalo Nickel. Love digging these.
Never dug a button quite like this. Nice flower design in the center.
I'm not kidding. I've been exhausted.
I fell asleep in this pile of dirt.
Back to regular posting ASAP!
Just shared on the Metal Detecting Heroes facebook page. I'll probably share a couple of your ring stories... posts are queued, so it'll be on there in a few days. Great work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Scott! Always a joy to return a lost item. I'll return the favor and share your page then.
